On my way to Copenhagen, I stopped over in Iceland for 25 hours. I went to the Blue Lagoon, a geothermally heated swimming/spa area. It was surreal, with opaque icey-blue colored water, steam and black lava rocks everywhere. ( I don’t have any pictures of that because I didn’t want to risk getting my camera wet!) My time in Reykjavik really was short, and I was asleep/not feeling well for most of it. I did manage to walk around the city a bit and take some pictures. So here they are:
They had parking spaces for electric cars! Just like our new Mini-E! There were two spots designated with green paint and little illustrations of a car with daisy wheels and a chord and plug coming out it. You just had to open up the side of the box, and you could plug your car in!
