On Monday, the Textile Ten moved up north to the Danish Design School to start printing. We mixed up some Bafixan dyes and started experimenting. We used painted with the dyes on paper, and then transfered the designs to fabric with the heat press. We also used the steamer to create different textures in our fabric. We tied wooden forms in fabric, steamed them for an hour, untied them, and were left with awesome bubbles and bumps in our fabric samples. We start screen printing tomorrow, so we got to use the powersprayer today to clean off old screens so that they’re good-as-new! I can’t wait!
